FAQs

Direct answers to common questions about how Meridian works and what to expect.

Is Matt the one doing the work?

1

Yes. Meridian is intentionally designed as a principal-led advisory. You work directly with Matt on all engagements. Where appropriate, he may bring in trusted specialists, but accountability and leadership remain centralized.

Core advisory and execution are not outsourced. In certain cases, Meridian will coordinate with external partners (such as employment counsel or specialized vendors) to ensure quality and compliance—but always under direct oversight.

Do you outsource any of the work?

2

Meridian operates with a strict commitment to confidentiality, discretion, and conflict management. We do not engage in work that creates competing interests or compromises objectivity, and any potential conflicts are addressed transparently.

How do you handle conflicts of interest or sensitive information?

3

Do you only work with healthcare organizations?

4

Healthcare is a core area of expertise, particularly in highly regulated and multi-state environments. That said, Meridian also works with other service-based and mission-driven organizations facing similar growth, structural, or leadership challenges.

Do you offer interim HR or CHRO support?

5

Yes. Meridian regularly steps in to provide interim leadership during transitions, leadership gaps, or periods of change—ensuring continuity while longer-term solutions are put in place.

Both. Engagements are typically structured with a mix of remote and onsite work depending on the organization’s needs, location, and scope. For Bend-area and regional clients, onsite support is readily available.

Can you be onsite, or is everything remote?

6

What size organizations do you typically work with?

7

Most clients are in the 25–500 employee range, often at a stage where growth, complexity, or risk is beginning to outpace internal People infrastructure.
